I haven’t posted new content for a couple of days. I had a mileage run scheduled over the weekend to Copenhagen, though I made it only to Frankfurt. My fault, sorta… I’ll write a Mileage Run Report soon enough. However, because I did miss a flight I had to contact United’s customer service and it took a while to resolve the issue, mainly because we ere dealing with a partner flight. I must say, I’m so thankful I’m a Premier member. The Premier Priority Desk phone line really made my travel itinerary fix possible within a tight time frame. 1-800-UNITED-1

Premier members may call the Premier Priority Desk for MileagePlus account information and flight reservations. The Premier Priority Desk number is listed on the back of the membership card. Calling the number will connect you to a Premier Priority Desk customer service representative specially trained to answer questions pertaining to our Premier travelers. These highly trained representatives are our most qualified agents and will be fully dedicated to providing our Premier members the highest level of service.
For faster reservations and other information, Premier members may call the Premier Priority Desk phone number, listed on the back of the membership card. Calls to the Premier Priority Desk are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Additionally, Premier 1K members have access to the 1K 1Call dedicated reservations service. The number is listed on the back of the Premier 1K membership card.
Premier members outside the United States and Canada may contact their local MileagePlus office.
This may be a benefit that at face value may have no value, as it really depends on whether or not your circumstances will lend themselves for you to enjoy the benefit. This past weekend I had to call United 6 times within less than two hours. I was calling through the internet, as I didn’t want to pay for roaming and other international fees, and calls kept cutting off. I never had to wait over 10 seconds for my calls to be answered by a rep. As you can imagine, given the circumstances, this was extremely important for me to be able to make the necessary arrangements in time.
I’m writing this because I hadn’t gotten that much out of this benefit before. I was never in a situation where a short wait time was so paramount. Though not quantifiable, rest assured that this benefit is certainly valuable and another reason to earn Premier status.
